Every year, kalau u nak start with your azam, u need to review back ataupun muhasabah balik your last year resolution. Jadi, u boleh memperbaiki apa yang salah, dont just keep on playing the same strategy and you will die along the battle. Last blog --->2018-resolution-muhasabah, I dah cerita bits by bits what went wrong. This year, ada jugak sikit azam lama, dan ada jugak azam baru.
Mengapa ada pertambahan and mengapa I tak focus jer dengan main azam?
First - I want to use new strategy, dengan pertambahan azam yang kecik2, achievable resolutions, ini akan ingatkan I, I ada azam yang perlu dicapai tahun ini. Let see if I am able to achieve easiest goals and committed to it until the end of the year.
Second - Apabila kita boleh buat goals yang paling senang, kita dah boleh move on to next goals. Kita pun jadi lebih happy dan lebih semangat nak buat next goals. At least you ada pencapaian on that year even the biggest goals you tak capai. Jangan buat goals yang teramat susah nak capai sehingga u akan burn out dan tak commit to it.
Macam mana nak buat goals yang senang-senang?
Macam stuck kan nak buat azam? Asyik-asyik nak loose weight, nak kawen, nak kaya, nak jadi jutawan. huhuhuh..saya tak cakap salah ye, tapi kena commit and achieve.
I pun stuck jugak masa nak buat new strategy nie, so I pun google la 'New Year Resolutions Idea'. Oh Actually banyak kita boleh buat and selain azam-azam yang disebut di atas. But bear in mind, dont put too many checklist, but make sure your checklist is going somewhere.
1. Identify categories, I guna category: Family, Recreation, Self Improvement, Ibadah, Spiritual, Health, Career, Financial, Friends & Community, Behaviour and other.
2. U refer balik all the new year resolutions idea kat blog lain, choose which one you want to achieve this year.
3 U put in category, while doing this, I noticed that a few of its almost the same, jadi u just buang la kat category lain.

Let me share I punya and how I do it.
I identify what is the purpose I am being born in this world - hamba Allah.
When I am no longer in this world, what value or last word I want my family members or other will talk about me? - This I get from 7 habits training.
What do I want to achieve by the end of my life?
Then, baru I put in all category. Bear in mind, not too many, focus.
Family - I have kids, my target is to spend more time with them and the same time I want to identify my kids talents.
Recreation

- Enrol my Sofea to art class - since she loves art and colouring - to explore her talent.
- Bring both Aareez and Sofea to swimming - Sunnah and spend time.
- Bring both them for nature walk - bits of recreation and spend time.
- Spend more time with in laws and my parents - Balik hometown, carefully plan to fly to Kuching as its involve financial.
- Celebration - link with friends and community, erat silaturahim.
Recreation
- Travelling for few location - this is what I love and the same time you can observe and menghayati ciptaan Allah swt, jadi hamba Allah swt yang bersyukur.
- Swimming dan nature walk - dalam family dah ada.
- Exercise- for more healty life and fun!
Self Improvement
- Maintain habits- kalau tak maintain macam mana nak achiveve goal
- Improve cooking - ada kaitan dengan financial
- Read books - what I love and for improve knowledge and to self motivate.
- Improve English - for career.
- Be more nice and postive - link with behaviour.
- Be more organize
Ibadah & Spiritual
- Puasa sunat Isnin dan Khamis
- Hafazan - tambah lagi surah pendek
- Recitation with tafseer - every day link with maintain habits.
- Sunat prayers
Health
- Exercise - dah sebut dalam recreation
- Eat more fruit
Career
- I need to change of career - might not this year but I am starting to make some action out of it, I will share when the time is come.
Financial
- Save more money - u boleh tengok I start to improve my cooking, so reduce eat outside, fasting (not just for saving but the same time for Allah swt)
- Earn more money - link with career
- Debt free - if you follow me previous time, I dah banyak kali share pasal nie.
Friends and community
- Connecting with people and friends - Erat silaturahim
- Volunteering - charity wise
Others
- Benda apa I nak beli for myself this year - that what saving and earn money for, I will share in my IG.
- My house interior improvement.
Banyak jugak benda nak achieve, lepas tu kena plan for whole year, how? I will show bits by bits either dalam blog or IG. Few days ago ada terbaca someone mentioned pasal too many checklist will lead you elsewhere but didnt lead you to where you want to go. Lebih kurang la ye, jadi make sure your resolution ada value and you know what you want.
You tanya apa I nak and achieve?
- Tujuan hidup adalah untuk Allah swt, of course I am still not perfect, macam I tulis sebelum tu, might not this year, but most important is afterlife. Atleast I start somewhere and not loose track. Jadi, I decide start with buat apa yang Allah swt suka macam erat silaturahim and so on. Kadang-kadang kita lupa sebab busy dunya, akhirat? That is why penting ada habits tracker.
- Another thing, I nak anak I dibesarkan with what they love and passion about and hope success in dunya and akhirat with the power of love, ahax.
- The rest to macam towards my career goals and my dreams lah ye and of course somehow link with purpose of life. This year kita focus this few dreams dulu.
