Change Maker Program

Last Sunday, I was attending a program called YSEALI Boot Camp at UiTM Shah Alam. They actually have started this boot camp at few other places for this year and Shah Alam is the last 3 places they have organized. If you happened to read this and would like to know more about it, you can try to google and enroll their phase 1 boot camp which I have attended earlier.

But, this write up is not to talk about this program but actually what I felt after this program.

Frankly speaking,  it is really an eye opening program for me and I have gained so much knowledge from all the participants that day. They were really great and amazing. Most importantly the energy they projected out was really positive and that has made the event so much fun and enjoyable.

In this event, they have invited speaker guests from a political organization which they shared their journey to achieve their caused. It is very inspirational sharing. Some might think that they have political agenda and you might think that I have interest in politics. Actually, I am not interested at all. But, one of education founder always shared that when you attending any program, leave whatever you know outside the hall, listen with open heart and you might getting something from their sharing.

Then, there were a session where participants need to present their caused/movement and I found that some of the ideas are really brilliant and not sure how they will proceed with it. Anyway, whether the campaign will succeed or not, it depends on their creativity to implement it.

For your information, most of the participants in Shah Alam is mostly students and their issues discussed were more likely close to them and I could not comment much on that. Because, I have experienced their problems before, and  I do not think it as much a big problem need to be solve. But it is not wrong for them to voice it out because they might come out with creative solutions and might be benefits to my kids in the future. You will never know.

I am really envied of all these students mind because through reading and observing they can come out with wonderful issues need to tackle of. They even want to take action on it without thinking much. The ideas might be good and bad, that is why we need to do thorough research before implement it because we want a better future.
