I have been long time I did not write in here rite..and I have been busy with Ramadhan, for coming Syawal and this december big day..the title has said it clears. I getting married and oh my gosssssssss...I panicked, and start to think what should I do next what should I do first eventhough I already got check list from 'wedding malaysia' - for the cosmopolitan and sophisticated bride 2012 which cost me RM18. It is really helpful though.
In Malaysia, Muslims who wants to get married, they need to attend wedding seminar (kursus kahwin) and the certificate is for whole life (means if you get divorced or want to remarried again, the cert is applicable). Since I was working in KL, so I need to attend the seminar whichever place that offers and certified by JAKIM (important hokey).
Enough of the introduction, maybe some of you wondering where did I go? hurm..the story went like this...
It is start with my fiancée get the form from shah alam office and actually we decide to attend the seminar at Shah alam only, furthermore, we keep on push the date from June then July then August...unluckily when we have decide the date......JAIS call us said that the class on 4 n 5 august been cancelled due to lack of participation, either we attend the week earlier or after raya....of course, the date getting near, I have other things to do.. we decide to find other place.. then I remember that my fiancée did mentioned that in Bangsar, there are place that organised the seminar. After checking the place and queries, that is the place.
For whoever interested: Zura Akademik, at level 1, kompleks niaga, Jalan Maarof kot, beside volkswagen building and pangsapuri apartment. If you want to attend other month beside fasting month, you need to pay and book earlier than your date.
interesting facts: this place, a lot of artist attend the seminar there before.
indeed i can not compare to other place but here are my experience:
the class is just like other islamic talk that we always attend, and it depends on the speaker also, if the speaker is good and you wont be sleeping aite (of course, your weekend should be in shopping mall or on your bed sleeping, what am I doing there?).hahahha..the interesting part and useful part is, they provide this information for whoever wan to get married few months before the date. which are, what to do when you want to register?. all the forms and information needed. they give you samples, teach and lead one by one. dont understand does not clear.. please ASK.. hahaha.. it is very useful and important. they even help the muallaf and foreigner you know...
other things that i want to share is, it is important and nice to attend the wedding seminar with your partner (the one whom you get married with) - my opinion lah. no need to rush everything..hahahaha (padahal buat last minit).
P/S I decide to write this because I found that there are a few bride to be write about this in the blog.
