Last week was her check up after 6 months of iron treatment. I have been given her not almost everyday iron supplement (prescribed by the doctor) since she really knew how to spit the med out.
The result was, Alhamdulillah the doc said it is good and she can stop taking the iron already. Alhamdulillah!
I am really happy as me and my husband does not need to struggle with her when giving her the meds.
There was something that was sent to me by whatapps by my brother in law and suddenly I remembered the messages (an image from a magazine) he gave me regards sleeping in the dark; it mentioned sleeping with lights can caused leukaemia among kids. Since I got the message, it took me quite a while to believe or not to believe, but indeed it is no harm for me to try it. We did try both by food and lights thus I could not say which method is the most suitable.
A new information for me when me myself went for a check up, the nurse advice me not to consume tea and coffee because it will disturbing in absorbing the iron. Okay, so less tea consume for us then. More vitamin C for us.
Another target for both us for another 6 months, doc was not satisfied with AS current weight as she only gain for around 1kg since our last appointment. Imagine that now she is 1 year 10 months and she weighs 8.7kg. Doc said that she is too small. So she needs to eat more. High calories intake need for you AS.
Currently I am not really well so I will not be able to update her progress by monthly. But I will update you guys how is she doing for her weights ya!
